DESCRIPTION
This is the new and improved Borla ATAK system for the C6 Corvette. ATAK™, Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics, technology is based on specifically-tuned attributes of the internal muffler cores, which are calibrated on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to deliver the most desirable sound. This is our most aggressive sound for the C6 Corvette. Even though the sound on the exterior is uncompromising, the sound in the cabin is devoid of harsh resonance, a product of painstaking engineering and over 30 years of experience.
This exhaust utilizes the incredible, aggressive, and clean exhaust note that the Borla ATAK systems are known for and and has new and improved mufflers designed to minimalize cabin drone. This exhaust system is loud, aggressive, and clean, and really pairs perfectly with the C6 Corvette's LS2 engine to give a true race-car quality to your exhaust sound. The drone is greatly reduced from the prior ATAK systems thanks to newly improved ATAK mufflers, and there's no compromising of the exhaust tone and exterior exhaust volume.
This Borla system does NOT come with the X Pipe but will bolt right up to the OEM H pipe without any issue. You can expect a 10-15 HP increase across the RPM range from installing this free flowing stainless steel exhaust from Borla.
